We used a mixture of statement, bespoke replica Ficus trees to create impact.
We opted for replica planting where light levels would be too low to support live planting (for example under the bench seating in the lounge.
Elsewhere we have installed a combination of live planting for the troughs and planters, we went for a mixture of Aglaonema, Monstera and Chaemodera.
Aesthetically these plants provide a range of texture, colour and height and create beautiful green buffers throughout the office. They also offer various biophilic benefits to an office. Their placement on banquette seating and social areas encourages employees to take breaks from their desks.
The broad leaves of the Monstera are excellent for aiding the acoustics of a busy office by absorbing sound. The Monstera is also a power house for purifying the air, as they absorb toxins via their aerial roots as well as their leaves.
